    Gyvlon established

    Gyvlon is established in the Netherlands by Gyvlon BV, pioneering anhydrite-based screed technology.

  2. 1996

    UK market entry

    Gyvlon enters the UK market, distributed and championed through the company Isocrete.

  3. 2002

    Lafarge acquisition

    Becomes wholly owned by the Lafarge Group, sitting within its Gypsum Division.

  4. 2010

    THERMIO® launched

    Dedicated underfloor heating screed brings step-change in heat transfer efficiency.

  5. 2013

    Sale to Minersa Group

    Lafarge announces the sale of Gyvlon UK to Spain's Minersa Group, opening a new era of growth.

    EXCELIO® thin levelling

    Ultra-thin levelling screed introduced for refurbishment and overlay applications.

  7. 2020

    FD E2C® technology

    Fast-drying, early-to-cover chemistry brings programmes forward by weeks.

    Vertically integrated supply

    Premium, vertically integrated supply of anhydrite raw material from the Minersa Group.
