Application: Grade II listed mill conversion to mixed-use residential and commercial

Brunswick Mill is a Grade II listed industrial building in Manchester being transformed into a £50 m mixed-use development delivering 435 new apartments across two phases, alongside ground-floor commercial units. XTR liquid screed was installed to level the uneven historic floors across six storeys, pumping efficiently to the highest levels.

Application: 4-storey sustainable care home

This 4-storey care home in Great Warley, Essex is designed by Harris Irwin Architects and features air source heat pumps and PV panels in line with the end user Care Concern Group's sustainability goals. Our ECO technology was selected as the most suitable screed for the underfloor heating systems, for its reduced thickness and excellent thermal conductivity. Our distribution partner Ready2Pour delivered a perfectly mixed screed, which Cempump installed in record times.

Application: 3-bedroom semi-detached ground floor refurbishment with UFH

A residential renovation project in Maldon saw a 3-bedroom semi-detached property undergo a full ground floor refurbishment, including an underfloor heating system serving the lounge, open plan kitchen/diner, hallway, utility and downstairs lavatory. Working alongside Ready2Pour, who supplied THERMIO MAX FD E2C screed, Multipipe overcame technical challenges around floor levels and screed depths.

A 1,200 m² warehouse in Worcester was converted into new padel courts, requiring a smooth, level base for the artificial turf sports surface. ECO by ANHYDRITEC — a low-carbon, cement-free liquid screed — was supplied by Tarmac and installed by Screed and That in a single day across 10 loads, delivering an excellent finish ready for the specialist flooring.
